I cannot believe this. Aerosmith is not Aerosmith without Steve Tyler. Why after 40 years together would he leave?? Their music is a huge part of my life and I don't understand this. My feelings are mixed about who to support if the break up is real…

Aerosmith with a new lead singer? Crazy, but this could really really work!–If they found someone that was really awesome though! They could be like inxs and do a rock star tv show…except actually come up with some new music and actually rock!!!!!

Journey did it, Foreigner did it (and that guy sounds really good). Bands should not be forced to be held hostage by singer diva behavior. Of course the original's always the best thing, but in these cases I can't blame the bands.

Steven Tyler IS Aerosmith. A band's singer gives the band it's sound. If a singer changes, the name should change as well. Hope Steven is doing ok, and decides to return to where he is needed.
