what perez mean in "If Taylor Swift has done this well, we can't wait to see how Fearless ends up doing!" her first album self titled Taylor Swift released back in 2006 has been on the charts for over 157 weeks now.i am sooo proud of Tay i remember buying the album in early 2007 & no one knew who she was she worked hard for this success so enjoy it Tay Tay

yeah considering she holds the title in "this century" which we are currently in, started in 2001, thats not really a big deal because thats only almost 9 years, which is not even as long as pink floyds album was on the charts for! and it hasnt been a century since 73 so…doesnt really count if you ask me! sounds kinda nice though, but really it means nothing!

Pink floyds dark side of the moon was on the billboard for 741 weeks… thats 14 YEARS, the longest IN HISTORY, in any catigory, and probably always will be! Then it came back on the charts again with the re-release in 1991, making it the 200th-best-selling album of '91—nearly three decades after its initial release. NOW THATS AN ACCOMPLISHMENT. nickleback can suck it.

her songs have been on mtv, vh1, and most radio stastion often BEFORE the vmas.
she was on talk shows and performed at the GRAMMYS, vmas, etc award shows BEFORE the vmas.
her album sold millions of copies BEFORE the vmas.
just because YOU never heard of her, that doesnt mean she wasnt hugeee before the kayne situation.

Re: 6one9 – umm NO. she has been around more that "15". her album sold 600k copies in the first week when it came out last november. thats more sales than beyonce AND britney debuted with. her newest album has been in the top 20 of the album sales chart since november. her 1st album has been on the top 200 sales chart for 3 years!!! she sold waay more albums than kanye before the vmas. he didnt make her a superstar, because she already was one before the vmas.
