I AM FROM SAN ANTONIO AND WAS WATCHING THE GAME. THEY SAID IN THE NEWS AFTER THE GAME THAT THE BAT WAS NOT KILLED, IT WAS JUST STUNNED. THE BAT WAS PUT OUTSIDE. I REPEAT THE BAT WAS NOT KILLED. SO ALL OF YOU PUT IN YOUR CLAWS.

I don't care if he only stunned the bat.
There should be some backlash for that. Bats are intelligent animals and he most likely seriously hurt this bat in front of thousands of people who idolize him, who will probably now think it's okay to do things like this.
Someone really should call PETA so they can bring this public and do what they do, badmouthing him to the public, because he deserves it!
And Perez, you did a commercial for PETA! Shouldn't you at least pretend like you care about the animals, and that you didn't only do that commercial for the attention and publicity?

I live in San Antonio and have gone to many Spurs game and most people don't realize that there are a lot of bats in San Antonio especially where the AT&T center is, dont worry the bat didnt die, Ginobili even said he felt the bat moving and the maintanence worker even said he let it free outside. Its a bad people they have rabies, it was a good thing he got it or else other people besides Ginobili would be getting rabies shots right now.

OK Boys & Girls, he didn't kill the bat, he knocked it out and it was let go outside the stadium. He is actually having to take a series of shots cuz they werent sure if the bat had rabies. It wasnt a publicity stunt the bat had been in the stadium since the previous night during a Hockey game in the AT&T center. And yeah PETA is bitching but they can go to hell comparing Ginobili to Michael Vick, i honestly am glad he did it otherwise it could have seriously hurt someone. So get over it, if you really think the life of a bat is more important than those of the fans then go play with some bats and stop putting up asinine comments. Have a lovely day.
