Blessings to Lisa and the life she has left to live for herself. Patrick will always be with her and is only a memory away. I hope she finds peace and love again.

at least she had 34 years with him and had time to prepare for his death, my husband died after being married just over a year from a fatal heart attack at 34 and left me with a baby, i didnt get a chance to tell him anything, 1 minute standing, the next dead. i would rather have had her circumstances

Weren't you one of the ones on his case to quit smoking when he enjoyed the habit and was living under a terminal diagnosis. Also didn't you publish pics of him coming and going from the hospital in his frail state. I'm just sayin'

The good die young because then we care. If the bastards died, who would care? If we care we are still human. Think about it. She didn't need to "tell him she loved him more". Me thinks 34 years, thick and thin. Trust me, Patrick knew he was loved. Show it. Talk is cheap.

See Mario, this is what a decent post and story is about. The true emotions being released and spoken of to others. A message such as this garner the satidfaction and feelings of the readers. divorce is more traumatic than death of a spouse; every study bears that out, and every person who has been through BOTH will tell you the same. she's lucky; she has money, she had love, and he wasn't murdered or killed in some ridiculous war. they had a good life. "Cellular level" is a phrase I've used for years, I wonder if she stole it, LOL! she could have found it in my book….

believe me, it's worse if after 34 years your husband leaves and marries someone else.

she isn't incredibly brave; it's just what people go through. better 34 years than 14.

and to the other poster, duh, lots of "bad" people die young and lots of "good" people live seemingly forever….

I'm still pissed that Patrick's death was SO over-shadowed by Michael Jackson's death… I realize Michael was an "icon", but so was Patrick, in his own right… I'm glad his wife has a close network of friends–that's exactly what she needs… It's amazing what the support of friends can help you accomplish!
