Of course people are going to complain. People are ALWAYS going to complain. The comments on every single one of Perez's postings is proof of this. Personally, from what I know of Chris Farley, he'd have been cool with it as long as it didn't hurt the ones he loved. It doesn't, so I think it should be a fine.

I honestly don't see what the big deal about this commercial is. I LOVE Chris Farley and I think it's a cool way to keep his memory alive. I love the commercial!

I don't see what the big deal is? He is saying that Chris Farley's comedy stands the test of time. He also was a great friend of Farley and I'm sure Chris is somewhere laughing about it.
It's not offensive at all. People need to lighten up.. seriously.

if anyone goes to see This Is It and then claims that a commercial with Chris Farley (who passed a decade ago) they should be slapped. When did everyone get so knee-jerk. This is an homage to Chris and in case no one noticed, this movie still plays all the time on cable. What the hell is wrong with everyone?? Michael Jacksons family and friends are running around cashing in on him in a very obvious way 4 months after he died. No one cares about that, but everyone is shitting a brick about a commercial!!!

I think the critics need to just shut the fuck up!!!! I love them both and that movie is such a classic and that scene was the funniest moment for me!!! I feel as if the Farley Family is Ok with it, then so be it. People always want to start some type of chaos, when their needs not to be. Perez, you are probably one of those critics.

I think it's funny. For Chrissake, Farley died what 11, 12 years ago? I think it's time people remembered that he was a funny and sweet man, and not that he died tragically as a result of addiction. I'm almost positive he would want to be remembered as the former and not the latter.
Dead celebrities have a right to make money too!

Love Chris Farley, and think it was a great and funny commercial "tribute" or whatever. If his family approves why not. So many other dead artist have been brought back through video. How about when Natalie Cole did a duet with her dead father. A little strange to watch the video but a beautiful tribute to a talented person. It made me smile to see him again he was taken way to soon, and will not be forgotten by our generation.
