I love Fiennes and trust he will do an excellent job, but why in particular Coriolanus? As a huge fan of Shakespeare I can think of more than a few masterpieces I'd sooner see on the big screen. Two gents anyone?

wonder if they will keep the original text, you have to be classically trained to do it really.
[re=4437085]Re: Mancunian[/re]

Word is they will be using the original text but everything else will be from this time period. Gerry is a brit he will handle the Shakespeare just fine.

Afterall, Gerry has done Attila, Phantom of the Opera, 300...he will handle this just fine. "Fine" now there's a word to describe Gerry. Law Abiding Citizen is a good movie, not great, but entertaining. There were some parts of the movie, however, where you had to work a little harder to suspend your disbelief but overall the movie had me biting my nails in some places; it was definitely way better than Gamer.

"fledgeling"?
1. That is an incorrect spelling
2. The word does not apply to Gerard Butler as he has been an experienced actor for many years

Camaguey: FYI, before Gerry starred in films, he already played a role in this particular Shakespeare play on stage so he's not just another actor that wants to play Shakespeare!!!

Fledgling actor?? Are you insane?
Gerard Butler had a stunning turn in the U.K. series "The Jury" in 2002. He held his own as Johnnie, the Scottish alcoholic, against such venerable veterans as Derek Jacobi and Antony Sher. He's amazing in his own right and arrived YEARS ago.
He's no kid, he's 40. Stop trying to pigeonhole him.

Holy shit fucktard, who the fuck are trying to fool? Your sister and mommy? You don't and never did know anything Shakespeare until you plagerized this story (just like every other one, Maryoh!) from another media outlet. Nothing like uninformed, regurgitated shit from ol' shit-for-brains itself!
