For a medical professional to have a sexual relationship with a patient is unethical, and if this doctor indeed engaged in such with her psychologically vulnerable patient, she should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. I do not think the judge should be sweeping this possibility under the rug. The doctor might do the same thing to another patient in the future.
