[re=4419811]Re: theJoker[/re]
IGNORANCE much are we??! Beckham IS one of the fearless footballers in his generation and he IS one of the most hardworking footballers ever existed! Clearly you have NEVER known about David "Goldenballs" Beckham only until he came to USA. And then you just believe what the US/UK press written about him after he moved there WITHOUT ever watching him in a game or following his works/life since the beginning for a minute!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Don't call other people out when you clearly don't watch either. Becks is skilled and is a good footballer yeah, but he is the furthest from being fearless and hardworking, and that's not something he strives to be.

He backs out of tackles, and is lazy as get out. He never tracks back, he just floats around and can't be bothered unless he has the ball.

At United he had Roy Keane, and at Milan he had Massimo Ambrosini to do his dirty work for him so he was free to become more creative, and these 2 clubs is where he has played his best football.

[re=4421776]Re: Nostradamus[/re]
You'll find that the World Cup Final, or even the Euro Final both pull in more ratings than Superbowl. Infact, Superbowl is number 5 on the list.

1. World Cup Final
2. Euro Final
3. Olympics Opening Ceremony
4. Olympics Closing Ceremony
5. Superbowl.

Nice try though. Case closed

[re=4420963]Re: cattsa[/re]
Yeah, I know what rugby is, thanks for explaining the concept.
According to your logic, cage fighting would be the best sport
I don't care about rugby, and neither does the rest of the world
the Super Bowl gets the highest ratings IN THE WORLD

American football certainly takes less skill. But if that what he likes, hope it works out for him.

[re=4419068]Re: contrarianchick[/re]
So you like the kind of "football" where players constantly fake injuries and cry like babies for calls?
No thanks, I like the sport where men are men, where human athleticism is celebrated at it's best, and when they get injured they suck it up, like real men, instead of rolling around on the ground whining like little bitches.
The NFL is the best realm of athleticism in the world.
