Michael never needed an award to prove that he is the Artist of the Millinium because his accomplishments, record sales, ticket sales, and popularity already proved and still proves that. And you mention something about Michael having to have a worker go around the world to request awards for him... Please! People wanted to award him just not because he deserved it, but also because they wanted to hopefully get him to their show. Michael wasn't egotistic at all. He didn't even keep awards in his possesion. He didn't need awards around to remind him of how talented and popular he was. The ball is now in your court...
