ok let me get this straight. A woman pines after Letterman for 23 years, he maybe loves her, but maybe she is not "The ONE". (Sorry if you don't want to marry her after 1-2 years- rather than 23- She's NOT the ONE!) Still he gives it a shot, and she gets knocked up. While he is still unmarried, (though he maybe in a privately exclusive relationship with baby momma) he has daliances and makes an error in judgment on the vacay. Maybe Baby Momma knows about the girl, maybe she doesn't. We are supposed to feel sorry for baby Momma?

Why are we not wondering if she knew all along and just spent 23 years getting her hooks into Dave and his money?

I don't think she is exonerating mens' behaviour but simply stating that, given that men cheat, women need to do something about it. It's a ceteris paribus type of argument. One can also say…given that women are desperate whores who will steal another woman's man in a heartbeat…men need to not cheat.

What Letterman did wasn't very classy but he's not the first to do it, nor will he be the last. Why don't you start some 'death to all cheaters' fanclub if you feel so strongly about it. Next time…I asked for and immediately received a package!! And the time after that I received a package and I didn't even have to ask LOL. That's b/c it was a GREAT company and they knew what was going on and though could not stop the harassment, they compensated me greatly. Those two packages meant I didn't have to work for a YEAR if I didn't want to. So people need to STAND UP for themselves!!

Though in retrospect, there was nothing I could do as it would have been hard to prove. I learned though! When I was harassed again in another job, I not only quit but demanded a package which I received ASAP (LOL!) paid for serveral GREAT vacations. In another job where my boss was having an affair with the married CEO and wielded all the power, I received ANOTHER package! At one point I started joking that it would be better to just collect compensation packages as a living. True I didn't sue, but in Canada we're not as litigious. And truth be told, a package is SO much better than a long drawn out trial which can ostensibly black list you. ALWAYS SETTLE OUT OF COURT!!
