The only way to keep those pigs small is to starve them, and I sure hope she doesn't do that. My mini pot-belly just turned one today, and she already weighs 90 lbs. I payed almost as much ($4k) for her, and they swore she would stay small. I did a lot of research on them, and I read how the way they stay small is if you feed them very little. When we received her with the feeding instructions; the amount they told us to feed her was 1/3 of what she should have been fed to be healthy. The fact is - pot-bellied pigs ARE miniature pigs; weighing about 100 lbs at their peak is miniature compared to a regular farm pig that can easily top 1000 lbs. Hope she starts lifting weights because she's not going to be able to tote that pig around. They are great pets, but they are very high-maintenance, they need constant attention, and everything has to be child-proofed or they WILL get into it, and they are smart enough to know to wait until you aren't looking. I have one of these pigs from Oregon, however, I rescued her after a family took her to a farm sancutary! They have the capacity to think like a small child which can be a handful at times.
