It broke a 4-year-old record set by Billy Crystal's one-man show. A $1.1 million week for a play is amazing, but musicals still regularly beat that, even after running for years. "Wicked" (running almost 6 years now) and "Lion King" (open for 10+ years) are still out-grossing "Rain." I waited outside the stage door with like 100 other people and Daniel signed a lot of playbills. Hugh stayed for like 15 mintues give auotgraphs, taking pictures with people and shaking hands.
