Im sorry but people don't "acidentally" overdose on 3 different pain medications and 3 different antidepressants. People like that have a death wish. Did we not learn anything from Heath Ledger's death???????

The medical examiner was (obviously) paid off to lie so his family could collect on the insurance policy.

he was either a risk taker, was highly stupid or even mentally retarded, or just didn't care - because no one would take that many drugs "on accident" - some people just don't know how much they've got going - if he would appreciate the positive things he had (just simple things like eyesight, legs that work, being able to breathe, a nice smile, freedom) instead of dwelling on the negative - he would have made it

Not only is this a sad loss, especially when he escaped death once before, but my heart goes out to the members of his family and friends.

This is NOT an accidental death. With all the media coverage about the dangers of combining these drugs together, he should have known better!! Yet, a lot of people think that just because certain drugs come from doctors who don't cross-check with your other prescriptions, everything will be fine. He had WAY too much in his system and I don't understand how he could be ignorant of it. I say it's death by turning a blind eye to his drug usage, and to me, that's not an accident.

[re=4359813]Re: Brainbug[/re] Ok, sure, whatever you say. I don't care enough argue about your opinion of AM
But I have to go off on a tangent and point out: You think that AM's death wasn't "celeb" enough to be reported on this "celebrity" site?
And the Gosselins, OctoMom, any reality "star", celebrities family members that aren't in the business and get legal trouble, etc. are "celeb" enough to be reported on here daily? O...k......whatever.

There's this simple concept that almost nobody here seems to get: it's called "intent." This may be a suicide, but dying from drugs isn't a suicide unless you *intended* to die at that time. Even if you have a death wish and hope the drugs will kill you someday, it's not suicide unless you have specific intent to die at a specific time. You don't have to have sympathy for people struggling with addiction to see the distinction here.

People do lots of things that are a risk to their lives on a regular basis. A smoker who dies of lung cancer may have killed herself, but she didn't commit suicide. Riding a motorcycle is pretty likely to kill you, and might be considered stupid too, but nobody would call it a suicide attempt.
