Needless to say I spent countles hours cleaning, arranging, and checking to make sure everything was perfect. When i was unable to check, oh say when i was at work, or out of my home i would begin to double guess myself. I would grow anxious, and yet again i would spend countless time worring if everything was alright…my point is i could say i have a problem with "cluttered cabinets" and you would have never guessed i had that much of a problem with "cluttered cabinets". OCD can rang greatly with the compulstions that ppl suffer from, so don't just write off someone cuz theirs seem silly compaired to other when it can be just as much as a problem. Just cuz she is famous dosent make her disorder any less significant. In the end you are degrading her OCD, just the same as you felt she or other famous ppl were degrading ours. you have no idea what she has to deal with interms of this, so dont speak for her…

Re: xLethalCocktailx – Well, thanks for that. I said in my comment that I don't really agree with the crude phrasing Perez uses here. And I'm not saying that she's faking it to get attention. So no, Adam Lambert pretending to be gay for attention is not the same thing. I absolutely do not think people with mental illness should be made fun of, which is why I have a problem with this, not because people who say they have mental illness are lying or something ridiculous like that. She may very well have her issues with cluttered cabinets. But for people who have to get serious help to deal with OCD and other like things, it seems a little inconsiderate to undermine that by possibly overemphasizing a not very serious problem and calling it OCD.

I am no expert here people, and I mean absolutely no disrespect to anyone who deals with problems, mental or physical, which affect them in a profound way.

I'm telling you, NO ONE is normal, there is no such thing. Everyone is fucking weird in some way. OCD is pretty common in a lot of ways, shapes and forms. My bf is obsessed with dust, all his furniture is black so that he can see it quickly and he'll bust out the damn duster ten times a day. It took me a while to get used to it, but it still manages to annoy the crap outta me sometimes!

You're telling someone to get a life because they have OCD and CAN'T HELP something beyond their control?Do you realize comments and ignorant mentalities like that are the reasons people with any kind of chemical disorder don't speak out about it?They feel like they have to suffer in silence,and sadly some of them take their own life as a result; because THEY ARE TOO ASHAMED OF GETTING HELP FOR SOMETHING THEY HAVE NO REASON WHATSOEVER TO BE ASHAMED OF,but because ignorant assholes stigmize it.You of all people should know what its like feeling different.Do you know whats its like to struggle with OCD?Its not as simple as "taking medication" or "getting a life."You act like people chose this.They DON'T.And take Medication?Trust Me,you don't want to get into a discussion about the medication with me.You've already opened your mouth and spewed forth your ignorance.Why your opinions hold weight with anyone in any form is beyond me.Your own bullshit obsession with carry prejean and everyone else that crosses your path in a negative/possitive way seems alittle obsessive and complusive.Why dont you get Meds and get a life as well instead of making ignorant comments like you do and living via celebrities misfortunes and downfalls?
