People New Orleans was not devastated because of Katrina. The levee's broke after Katrina passed over New Orleans. But there is noting left on the mississippi gulf coast, the town of Waveland, ms was completely wiped of the map. People of mississippi didn't cry out for the goverment, people helped each other and we are still doing that till this day!!!!!!!

New Orleans was always known for it's corruption… you can rebuild it GREEN with all the tralala's but wait and see it after say 5-10 years. It's going to be a run down dump. People don't give a crap… they don't work and they don't try to better themselves. You think giving them new pretty houses is going to change anything? Naw! They'll turn in right back into a ghetto… prove us wrong N'Awlins… wake the f*ck up.

FUCK new orleans. i'm sick of hearing about them. millions of people were effected by katrina in mississippi too. i know i was.

How much MONEY have you given. Who's responsible for rebuilding the 9th ward? And I certainly didn't say everything is ok down there. I live in Houston and there was plenty of damage from many hurricanes here. But I'm sure you never hear about that because it's Bush's home state… Just like you never hear about Mississippi, Alabama and Florida, they must be vacation spots for a high-ranking conservative, huh? The state that is continuously yapped about is Louisiana. How much longer do we have to hear about it?

you know what this is so typicaly!!!! when people talk about katrina they automatically think of new orleans! what the fuck about mississippi!!!!!!!! that's right I said MISSISSIPPI! i guess we don't get any attention cuz we don't sit down on our asses and whine about everything and say "o poor me"! i went to the gulf coast a 2 weeks ago for the first time since katrina…….and let me tell you there ain't half the shit there that use to be! a bunch of abandoned buildings and vacant blocks!
