I am going to stop looking at your blogs perez. You obviously have never been in a controlling relationship. once your out of it you go a little crazy with the freedom for a while. It does not mean that you dont love your kids, in fact you leave that relationship so that you can have a better relationship with your kids on your terms, not on someone elses. STOP bashing jon and watch the show from beginning till now and you will understand why jon is enjoying some freedom. Team Jon all the way

John felt beaten down by Kate. Why the hell didn't he put her in her place before it got so bad? Typical case of a wet noodle. Rather than speak up, let it go on and on until he explodes. The longer it went on, the more of a power trip it was for her. I think she liked being in command and he let her.
As far as the cheating, I bet they're both guilty as hell.

I can see why Kate would not go to just any counseling. As they could be selling their story to whoever the highest bidder (regard;ess of ethic code).

I am sure Dr. Phil told Jon he should not be running around in bars with gals in their 20's etc. Jon was drinking heavily as he admitted. Dr. Phil may have tried to warn dumb Jon that he would destroy their marriage and the brand Kate worked her butt off to create to provide for the children's future.Jon wanted to be free of being an adult. Kate should resign from Jon and Kate Plus 8. TLC should fire Jon. Kate should take off the rest of this season. She and the children need a break from the paps. TLC should hire Kate and the children ONLY for next season for a brand new show without Jon. Jon has ruined their brand. Kate is still marketable. JON IS NOT

As bad as this particular stint looks, I still can't believe there are people that take Jon's side in this.
I mean, yeah, she's high strung and sometimes a bitch, but there's no need for him to carry on in his current jack-assery.
I've watched the show, no need to pounce on my 'non-knowledge' of it. I could care less how he used to be, it's what he's making of the present. Sure he earned some merit, but not nearly enough to get him out of all the current bull.
Honestly though, it doesn't even come down to how they treat / treated each other.
At the end of the day, it's about their kids, and Jon is setting a terrible, TERRIBLE example. One day, the kids are going to look back on this, and be able to see their parents entire divorce laid out for them in black and white. Who do you think they'll be more embarrassed of? The mother who turned down money to do a Playboy shoot, or the dad who's off to clubs making cash off of what ever media he can get.
The parent who stayed at home with them and looked out for them, or the one off with his sleazy girlfriend who's only 13 years older than his oldest daughters.
I feel so bad for those poor kids. No one deserves to be caught in the middle of their parents divorce. Especially when the entire world is watching.
