FYI for all the people calling her a "one hit wonder": she actually isn't, and by saying that the only thing you're doing is demonstrating how little you know about music–or anything beyond what you hear on commercial radio or in the preview of Pineapple Express, apparently (didn't even realized she had a song on that soundtrack).
But I also want to add that her comment, in addition to being rude and tacky, is disrespectful and insensitive to the Beastie Boys. You find out that someone can't tour because they have CANCER is this is how you react? Ick.
