When you have a subject close to your heart that you have been working on forever, it's understandable that you would have ideas for the characters and actors playing them...Also, watching interviews with Richard Kuklinski you tend to see how someone like Mickey Rourke might be a good idea, though I am not a fan, I think that Lorenzo di Bonaventura should have been smart enough to watch the interviews and research before trying to cast Channing whats his face. Channing Tatum is fine for any role with a simple plot that involves a lot of shirtlessness. But for a film that requires true acting talent? HELL NO! Honestly, I'm sick of every prettyboy actor thinking they're the next Brad Pitt or Leonardo DiCaprio - those men proved early on in their careers that they can act (What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Kalifornia), but clowns like Zac Efron need to step off & stick to rom coms!
