very klassy watching her back peddle like a little bitch, any respect i have for katherine is from greys anatomy. She looks beautiful on the cover, although she is getting too skinny. I liked it when she was thicker than a snicker.

[re=4141629]Re: Killer K[/re]
There is nothing wrong with her or anyone else for having an opinion. But in this case she pretty much reinforced the "dumb blonde" stereotype by publicly dumping on a movie that SHE decided was worth her time to do. I think there is a difference between an actor acknowledging they did a bad movie, which I actually admire, versus acting holier than thou and blaming it personal standards. Was she too stupid to realize the movie was "sexist" when she did it?

Or was it just plain and simple, "I need the work. I need to advance my career by getting into movies and I will do whatever comes along to get onto the big screen. I have to start somewhere."

Of the two scenarios I think she knew exactly what the overtones of the movie was but she didn't care then. Her ambition was stronger than her standards. That is OK too as far as I am concerned. Show business is really tough and sometimes you have to take what you can get if you want to keep working.

What isn't OK is to then trash it like you were never a part of it. In my book that makes you hypocrite.

I mean seriously. I'm an actress and if I had been offered that role....her role, knocked up. I don't think I'd take it but I'd be a fool not to right? She pretty much to had take it. Her career depended on it and obviously it's not like she wrote the script. You also need to take into consideration that if there were better roles being offered she most likely would have taken them.

Knocked up was incredibly sexist. How is she lying? Maybe men should stop producing all these sexest, horn dog movies, objectifying women. I love this girl...and boohoo at the producer, seriously, cry me a river. They could have handed that role to 20 million other girls, she just got lucky by smiling the right way I'm sure. I'm not saying she can't act, there are a lot of decent actresses who can act as well. Smart Katherine, but what else can you expect from an attractive lady. And what's wrong with the truth...suck it up and move on. I love handing out the truth, and yes it always pretty much gets me in trouble but whatever nothing wrong with some truths in life.

[re=4139863]Re: BetterFasterStronger[/re] To you and everyone else who says "Good for her for speaking her mind and fighting sexism!" as if she were empowering women... Keep in mind she has had no problem profiting from Knocked Up or any of her later films that were in a lot of ways much more sexist (in particular her latest film). It's not a "good for her" moment or a celebration of a strong women when she just goes whining and being a bitch to people who, often, have bent over backwards for her. All while having no problem making, starring in, and producing her own sexist films.

God, what a horrible little snot. It's not being opinionated, it's not being feisty or frank. These things imply that someone is just being honest. She isn't being honest so much as being a two faced, catty little snot who consistently resorts to passive aggressive behavior that puts to shame every self indulgent, popular girl I ever met in high school. I don't usually wish ill on people but it's really hard not to when someone is as rotten as she is.
