Re: vee_em – Indicate to me the evidence that he gives, as you say, "lots" of money to charity. You have no evidence for this at all. PS I liked Trannydan when he was a kid; as he has grown up he has gotten steadily worse and I am happy to point that out.

Re: SweetAs – Dear heart, it is quite simple. Does the celebrity give any of their income to charity or not, and how much if they do. It's a matter of fact. And no one need make a big fuss about it, just provide the facts. It won't hurt them at all to let us know. Since WE give them the money they have, I think we have a right to know if they give any of it back to the poor and afflicted or if they just greedily keep it all themselves. Fans are often so dumb and worshipful they never think of challenging their "gods" on any issue. Don't be such a smitten ninny.

Re: insertsobriquet – Oh really. Does HE give to the charity or only endorse it to his fans and ask THEM to give? I have never seen any evidence of his giving HIS money to the charity. He just recommends it to others.

He supports a childrens hospice, even has his pic up on there website. What does it have to with us wht he spends his money on? and celebs who boast about how charitable they are are wankers

Dan is very active in Charity. Don't talk about something you know nothing about. One of the many charities he's involved in is called Demelza House. JK Rowling even named one of the characters in the books after that charity.
