that seems weird. Katherine is 79 and Diana is in her 60s. Seems like Janet would be the natural choice. They were best friends growing up and she is the youngest member of his immediate family.

Diana and Michael were very close. He lived with her when he first moved to California. She is also known to be a very good mother to her 5 children. I am sure Michael saw this and that's why he chose her. He was also close to Liz and Liza but I don't think those two are suitable to raise children. I think Diana was a smart choice.

Oh, shush. How are you gonna judge his will? I'm quite sure he had his reasons. Lots of people leave things to specific family members. It sure as hell doesn't mean he hated the rest of his family. It MEANS he had a reason for leaving them what he left them. And it's getting really tiresome seeing everyone judge every single thing that the man has done.

Perez, you have it wrong. The Trust is dispersed ONLY to Katherine and his three kids. The other releatives are "contingent beneficiaries" meaning they get money if/when the original beneficiaries die.
