The only people who like Johnny Depp are old people? DUH and I'm totally confused about what the hell they're censoring. Did this article say it's going to filter out nude images but you could still search for porn? Doesn't that cancel out the censorship part? Chinese people are stupid or hmmm maybe I am but I totally didn't get that.

Something went wrong with the programming LOL. I'm sure the roast pork, Garfield and even Johnny Depp were programming errors, not so sure about Paris Hilton though. Ironically I just watched a Chinese movie where one of the characters was openly gay (in a positive way too). How contradictory.

I don't agree with this kind of censorship, but in answer to how is roast pork violent? Have you ever been to a slaughter house? I think you will find that pork is the result of incredible violence.
However, it makes no sense in this context, since China sees nothing wrong with boiling live cats, skinning dogs, packing dogs, cats and other animals in tiny cages for days on end and a million other atrocities right there in street markets.
