I have just finished the book; the best book i have ever read i will mention; and watched the movie because i was very stoked to see it put into the cinema, when i left the theatre i was in utter disappointment and shock that jodi picoult would allow the changing of the ending i do not by any means believe that this movie satisfies the intensity and the meaning and message brought on by the book it totally changes the whole story and the best thing or one of them about the book to me was the fact that it took that unsuspecting twist at the end which drew me to more of jodi picoult's work and this movie hoping but leaving disappointed.

When I went to see this, almost everyone in the theater was upset about the ending. Audible gasps everywhere.

They should have kept the author's ending, I think that it would have worked better, it had a very bittersweet ending that would have been nice to translate to screen.

the novel was amazing... and if the ending is changed then it totally takes away from the desired effect that Jodi Piccoult wanted!

I have read the book. Though it was incredibly sad, The message was on point... I was anxious to see the movie. now, as I love to see books come to life, (although I am usually disappointed and prefer the books) I finished this one yesterday and cried my eyes out at the ending and the message it sends, which left me wanting to see the movie even more, now after reading this, I am not real sure how I will precieve the movie, the ending is what stamps the message into your heart. Stays with you in your thoughts, I am thinking forever... I am nervous now that the movie will change this...

i love my sister's keeper (the novel). the ending in the novel was so shocking, and although i plan on seeing the movie, i know that anything other than the true ending will be really disappointing.

it was still an amazing movie.,
the book ending wouldn't have worked as a movie, they made the right decision
