Since its a greatest hits album and the other two are new releases… its kind of an unfair comparison for sales. Despite that, with her three new tracks alone maybe she'll outsell MC and WH.

It isn't a new "Album", it's a Greatest Hits Package. Like her other albums of the past few years, it will bomb. She may sell out concerts but she can't sell music worth a damn anymore. Whoriah and Shitney Houston will outsell her old puss easily.

Some of us young kids DO know the meaning of talent, and it sure isn't the Madonna, Britney, Beyonce, etc. Just because someone sells a shitload of records, it doesn't make them talented…just popular. Sure she has accomplished a lot, but she also set the precedent that looks, fame, and notoriety can overshadow any lack of musical genius or talent. You can rail off all the numbers you want about Madonna; some of us really don't give a shit about that. Thank God there are some people in my age group who actually know who Kate Bush, Siouxsie Sioux, Joni Mitchell, Joan Jett, Tracy Chapman, Fiona Apple, Sinead O'Connor, Tori Amos, Annie Lennox, Teena Marie, Aretha Franklin, Patti Smith, etc. are. Those are women with raw and actual talent, whose influence extends much further than Madonna's ever has. The fact they don't sell as many records pleases me.

I think most of the comments below are total bullshit. All these young "KIDS" don't know the meaning of true talant. Madonna is the reining queen of pop and aways will be long after she passes away. It's funny that people are calling her a "has-been" when she just released an album full of new material last year that did very well (I might add) and was the MOST successful tour of the year with her "Sticky and Sweet Tour". This outsold Britney, Beyonce', and ANY other artist that dared to compete with her. I also love how people are trying to cut her down for her fitness level and her body. She may be on the "buff" side, but how many people, especially women can say they look the way she does at age 50 (almost 51)…not many!!!! People need to stop criticizing her for things she has worked so hard for. She is a LEGEND no matter what anyone says. She is and forever will be "The QUEEN of Pop".
