If they didn't have a dog before, then they're probably really not dog people (did they do this for publicity purposes?). Too bad they didn't adopt a rescue dog from the pound and set a good example instead of paying high dollars for a pure bred.

Isn't it funny how this dog gets the last name Obama? Here in KC there was a fire this weekend, dog was rescued, put on oxygen, and the owner was described as "his mommy was at the store buying groceries"–pictured a female dog at the store buying groceries–ha! Adorable pic! Love, love, love the Obamas!
