Belle De Jour and Fanny and Alexander comes to mind along with others. I enjoy them better than some american films. Subtitles are great. No need to know the language the acting does it all for you. But, you have to really be into the movie. Now I am going to rent this one and check it out. Remember Like water for chocolate? Does not matter what language it is. I find them interesting even more.
