I've read a lot about that particular study (The Stanford Prison Experiment), and I'm really psyched to hear that they're doing a remake of Das Experiment. And besides, it doesn't hurt that mega-hottie Cam Gigandet will be in it. I can't wait!

I love foreign films. Belle De Jour and Fanny and Alexander comes to mind along with others. I enjoy them better than some american films. Subtitles
are great. No need to know the language the acting does it all for you. But,
you have to really be into the movie. Now I am going to rent this one and check it out. Remember Like water for chocolate? Does not matter what language it is. I find them interesting even more. JMO!

Hmmm, but no yummy Moritz Bleibtrau in it? Or does he get a patronizing bit part?

The original is a really good film. Lets hope this remake doesn't make a hash of it or dull down the parts that make it so enthralling.

Das Experiment: loved it in original German (saw it 5 years ago)... but god damned: learn how to read subtitles! my mother tongue is dutch, how many good dutch movies are there made in a year: 1 if we're lucky... so i learned how to read! don't be lazy, go see the original... (okay: with that kind of cast - except for hobbit-slut elijah wood - it's going to be a good movie, but the original will remain the original. i'm not a fan of remakes)
