Lauren's L.A. Candy is such a good book, I recomend it to anyone who loves the Hills… And I am glad that she todl the truth, and I knew all along that when MTV does a reality show like The Hills you should know that some it will be scripted.

fancy that; bitching about the same show that made her what she is. SHE SHOULD BE BOWING DOWN AND KISSING THE HILLS' FEET.
who is she to rat them out about their fakeness. okay, we all knew it was probably fake but by confirming it like this…she just looks snobbish and ungreatful. She may think she's too good for the hills now that she has her "self written" novel - but she wasn't too good for the hills a few months ago lets just put it that way. The books actually not that bad, but I still wouldn't want to be caught dead buying it so I downloaded it as an ebook (the site I used was BooksOnBoard, www.booksonboard.com) I'm reading it discreetly from my laptop when I get a lull in the work day

I know we also have crap TV in Europe but seriously most crap programs are born in the USA and this is one of them…. who is this girl? she's done NOTHING AT ALL TO BE FAMOUS/RICH - miss the times when famous people actually had a job (ie being a real actor o a real singer)

We all knew this.
I'm sure the reason why Lauren left the show was that she was tired aff oll this faked performances. This isn't a reality show anymore, but I think it was at some point, maybe until third season.
She can be a little full of herself, or maybe proud of herself I think, but that's why she deserves a lot more of respect from us than any of the other casts of this show, wich in 2 months will became a total lame.

But my fear is that you, and the people who love Speidi, do it just because we got to a point that we are not even interested in human beings anymore, we just love to entertain ourselves without realising the background.
And sorry, but that just sounds SAD to me.
