I don't get it… "not impressed" with Beth Ditto? Is it even possible for other female singers NOT to be impressed with Ditto..? Her voice is just CRAZY amazing!!!!
And yeah, if Beth Ditto had said this about ANYONE else you'd be so backing up Ditto right now and not Katy Perry. But because Ditto is too cool to EVER become your friend you're playing it safe and sticking with your "best bud" Katy.. *cough* famewhore *cough*

Katy was expressing what its like to be a confused teenage girl who wants to know what its like to kiss a girl and then finds out!!! Its not like shes singing "I licked out a girl and I didn't like it" EVEN THAT isnt offensive… This woman is just trying to make a name out of herself by slagging off beautiful women like Katy… its sad really… I know what I'll do to get some publicity!! The point she is getting across if it's pretty bad when you become famous for making a song about kissing a girl, being a faux lesbian……it's true though, even her song Ur So Gay is full of sterotypes saying gay men are flamboyant. She is clueless i guess, and probably didn't think about the way she comes across to the gay audience…….She probably just thought "OH I'LL MAKE A SONG AND GET ATTENTION AND PRETEND TO BE A FAUX LESBAIN" either way I don't think she will have the staying power to outlast this album, hopefulyl she will fade away after this latest single "Waking Up In Vegas"

I ALWAYS found this song patronizing and offensive. She is clearly not gay and the song is geared towards a boyfriend's fetishism of the lesbian kiss. It so disturbs me that you shield Ms. Perry. Her theme outfits are so naf and she's just not onto it in terms of queer culture. Her song is nice for straight people, have no blimmin idea why you've taken to her so much. Her songs in general also are as lacking in dynamism as her outfits. So theme based like some sponsored party. And she doesn't even write that shit… Waking up in Vegas? C'mon, how easy and broad does a subject get. Not to mention the lyrics and melody are as bland as the concept. Girl, I would drop that canned shit like a flaming bag of poo if I was you. You may be tight but it's cardboard cutout stuff…

I understand what she's saying but she doesn't know Katy, she seems sweet. She probably does understand that but it doesn't change anything, the song came out already, if she thinks its offensive thats fine but, it doesn't change anything. and plus she seems sort of jealous of Katy i mean honestly ive never heard of beth until you talked about her on here. What does that tell you. She definitely does just want attention, honestly, who isn't a famewhore these days. GOSHH……. lmao
