Rome was one of the most successful and longest thriving civilization in history. Their collapse is undeniable, however; the fact that it was cause by the embracing of homosexual love is. Their acceptance of this was not something new introduced in the last half of their culture. It was something they embraced and even held in higher regard than heterosexual love since their earliest days of development. If homosexuality really equalled the collapse of a civilization than Rome would never have grown into the inspiring world power it was. And yes (since you seem to think people have to justify their comments and inform you of the academic validity behind it), I studied the history and philosophy of ancient Greece and Rome for the better part of my higher education. Sorry but I have to agree with Revered Robertson on this one. Homosexuals are ruining this country by trying to make homosexuality a positive thing when in fact it is one of the most disgusting and perverted things going on today. Homosexuality is a sin that should be avoided at all costs and the gay rights people are bringing our country down by trying to convince people that it is "normal" and "positive" when it certainly is NOT!
