DL makes stupid cruel jokes everynight and this was admittedly a regrettable tasteless joke. Althouht, I doubt DL knew which daughter was sitting by SP at the game, as with the rest of the world. The joke really only works with the older "knocked up" one. If you can call it a joke.
Any parent would be angry, but in usual SP style, she's now exploiting the issue to further her political career. Asking for an appology for all women?
This is supposed to be a femanist track? Are we back in the Victorian times where we women faint at the sound of men saying tasteless things?
The joke was bad and the daugter deserves a appology, like soooo many before her on late night talk shows. thats all.

What media isn't liberal? Thats what I would like to know. What you people don't realize is that just because you are from a small town and talk with an accent doesn't mean you are dumb, and whoever thinks that are very ignorant. At least she has the guts to stand up for what is RIGHT by going on all these shows where everyone is already bias because she is a republican, if everyone could just get passed that fact they would understand what Letterman said was wrong. A politial party shouldn't effect you from knowing from whats right and wrong, Grow up people.
