How exactly does one support the troops, but not the war? How do you support someone, but not support their cause? How do you support someone who puts their life in the line for something they believe in, but not support their beliefs? I don't understand this.

Iraq shouldn't be a source of comedy, even lame Colbert "comedy.
The situation there is a tragedy and a travesty. I wonder if the families of our 4,000 dead service members are laughing. How about the families of those seriously injured and maimed for life.

[re=3887963]Re: heidi3thumbs[/re] I'm so sorry for the loss. :( We've been so lucky so far, not to lose anyone in my husbands unit, but their have been losses in other units since the beginning of this year, one loss is still one too many, no two ways about it.

[re=3885952]Re: Rtarara[/re] Yeah, it has calmed down alot but it isn't safe. My husband lost one of his troops just a couple weeks ago. You just don't hear about the troops being killed anymore......

thats not true. WWE goes to Iraq every year to entertain the troops and airs it on their shows. He is not the first show to go over there to broadcast a taped show.

I'm probably the biggest Colbert fan out there. And though I'm also a fan of his luscious chocolatey brown locks, I'm beyond words of how proud of him I am right now. This hallmark occasion shows how much this country needs to put things in perspective and remember the troops and what they're doing to keep people safe. And as fangirl suit reporter for NFZ, I officially approve that sexy camoflage suit!!!! hot stuff!
