Don't rain hell over Brooke Shield's head for not caring for her mother on her own. It's a 24/7 job, and in advanced cases, they need very specific care that an untrained person cannot manage. Personally, I wouldn't have settled. I would want to fight this thing out to the end. What the National Enquirer did was criminal. If this had been a young child, the reporter would have been thrown in jail....but because they took a grown woman, it doesn't seem to be that big of a deal. I am guessing that she is flippin the bill for that and it's not cheap. She has 2 small children already to take care of. They had mother's day together with the small children and Brook. It is already difficult to explain what is going on with grandma to them. She's doing the best that she can.
