The first movie didn't work because they didn't use Whedon, only his script. The Series worked wonderfully because not only was he directly involved, the casting was great, and he oversaw everything with a supreme whedonesque. This movie WILL FAIL, because not only is he not writing it, he's not in anyway involved, and none of the cast members are on board. If Joss isn't involved, I want nothing to do with this movie, even if it is about our lovely slayerettes. THIS IS RIDICULOUS.
