NO Joel, it is not OK outside anywhere except a contracted media event, as you and others have rights to your safety and privacy. A minor child has rights to be safe and protected by our society, this situation is harmful to your daughters emotional development. It is up to you and Nicole to defend and protect her rights, there is a movement that is working to remove these aggression towards celebritites and their families. ENOUGH harrassment and photos of minor children!!!!!

Totally agree…Withing reason, celebrities should expect pics taken. Part of the trade-off for that ENORMOUS paycheck, right? But, driving or with kids…shameful. My 2.5 year old daughter gets scared when a *normal* person approaches her. She would be terrified if a swarm of people were in her face snapping her picture. Kids should be off limits…

THE PAPPERZ SHOULD BACK OFF A LIL WHEN PPL HAVE THEIR KIDS WITH THEM…JUST CUZ THE PARENTS WANT FAME DOESNT MEAN THAT THE CHILD SHOULD HAVE TO DEAL WITH THEIR CELEBRITY…BUT IM SURE HE'D BE JUST AS UPSET IF PPL JUST STOPPED TAKING PIC ALL TOGETHER…ITS A DOUBLE EDGED SWORD.

Suggestion, from wife of a photographer (and a mom) - Joel and other celebs should get themselves a nice, bright flashlight with a strobe feature. When the photogs get too animalistic, just turn that strobe on. No harm to their equipment, so they can't sue you, but it messes with their flashes and they can't get any good pictures.
