A breastfeeding mother will typically burn an extra 500 calories per day, for each child fed...so she's burning at least an extra 1000 cal/d. And in general, women who give birth to mulitples tend to reach pre-baby weight much quicker than women who had a single baby.

This is fantastic news for me. I'm pregnant with my first and have always had the intention of breastfeeding, just because I have always thought it was healthier for the baby. But losing the baby weight is an added incentive.
Go boobs! Yet another reason to love funbags.

[re=3738873]Re: JoliAvocat[/re] Where are you getting your facts?? This subject always gets me going. Anyone who doesn't believe her hasn't had a kid. I lost all my baby weight and more from breastfeeding. I was eating all the time too. 35 pounds in 3 weeks is totally possible with twins especially (and her good genes). Formula is NOT the same as breast milk. Look at the ingredients on formula. Or better yet, just taste both and tell me if they taste the same.
