I don't see how voting for someone becuase they are "different" is ethical. it's a singing contest. it's not a "who shares my sexual orientation contest?" and for that matter, anyone who refuses to vote for him just becuase he is gay, even if they think he is the best singer, has a problem too. I think people should try to be objective. This is how things go wrong. This is the same kind of thing that goes on in washington, where congressmen vote for bills that help the companies that give them money. it's not based on whether the bill is a good idea half the time, its just based on whether it helps their supporters. why can't you just stick to the actual issue, which is finding the best singer?
