I thought Miss Edwards was a "liberal" a "progressive", but I realize now that she is as pathetic as her husband's mistress. So, her husband is sleeping with another woman, has a child with her while she is fighting cancer and she FORGIVE HIM? Who is really pathetic here?

And Pewrez, if really think that "Having the ability to forgive is an admirable quality", then you should praise Miss California. She forgave you. She even prayed for you, no matter how much you trashed her.-

I feel very bad for her. Her husband is scum, however, I hope that she can overcome her bigotry towards people who do not share her political views. She referred to her former neighbor as a "rabid, rabid Republican". He is a man who has since sold his property to friends of the Edwards so that no Republicans can dirty their neighborhood again. Trouble is, the man's family had owned the property for about 50 years and along came John and Elizabeth and treated him like dirt. Shame on both of these hypocritical libs. Elizabeth — please grow up and understand that everyone who disagrees with your political views is not subversive. This used to be a free country before your kind took over.

That 'parasite' is raising her husband's innocent child. If she's so admirable, why didn't she think about the child before she put pen to paper? It's not all about her. The other woman didn't get knocked up by immaculate conception. After Liz leaves this earth, the child is still left with whatever legacy. I do also feel for Liz, here, but I might have said nothing publicly in this case as it speaks for itself, but would have said plenty to Mr. Edwards.
