I miss the days of Pele, Under The Pink, Choirgirl. She's not the same. She changed with Venus, which is thought was great. And Scarlet's Walk was great. American Doll Posse had some great moments, but it's time to go to an edgier sound. Remember listening to Pele for the 1st time? It was like WOW! This isn't.

Re: TopDog24 – Amen! Boys For Pele was the BEST! Her first 5 albums were good, really, but something went very wrong with these concept albums! This new stuff is safe, poppy bullshit! It's sad to say, but she was much more interesting when she was unhappy!

Yeah, it reminds me of Scarlet's Walk. And Scarlet's Walk was safer than her previous work, but it was a masterpiece in my opinion. But this sounds watered down. She has good melodies, but she needs her piano and she needs that passion back in her voice. These new songs don't impress me.

It's alright. Again, it doesn't really remind me of Choirgirl. This sounds a little too safe for Tori. I wish she would do something weirder like Boys For Pele, which is by far her best album.
