A conflict of schedules? That's such a lame ass excuse from celebrities. You know who has a conflict of schedules? Me and my boyfriend. He lives in New Hampshire, I live in Washington state. But we make it work. We make it a point to spend time on the phone together or email or text each other, and we only get to see each other every few months so if we can make it work, with neither one of us being wealthy or having the ability to take time off whenever we feel like it, then "celebrities" should be able to do the same, as they have more resources available.
The real reason they broke up? He's a douchebag who dresses like a Hot Topic threw up on him. Ew.
