As I said If all of these celebs want to open up their checkbooks and send cash over then fine but to ask our gov to keep doing it when we have record high numbers of people out
of work, losing their homes our own grand parents and parents having to decide on either food or their meds for that month.
Now you also have states letting people out of prison early.. to cut cost's, oh yea but keep deluding your self that we can AFFORD to help other countries

Did it EVER come to your mind that maybe you NEED the rest of the world, yes, the POOR countries too, if you ever wanna STABILIZE your economy again?'!?!? Just asking….If you produce you must also find someone BUYING your products….the USA will not be "enough" as a market if you want your economy to recover! US economy is NOT "isolated" from that of all other countries world-wide! If you do not help underdevelopped countries developping the riots there will either move over to the USA/Europe (they already DO if you look at the refugees in Italy and elsewhere, you just have not REALIZED This, as usual, in the USA!) or they will never be a "sales market" für U.S. Products!

could you perhaps give me ONE, just ONE, example where under Bush Administration the U.S. "helped" the citizens of ANY other underdeveloped and/or poor country??? Bush and Co. only helped the DICTATORS and MAFFIA politicians in those countries and sent them money/credit with which - in turn(!) - those dictators bought AMERICAN luxury cars, huge luxury homes in Europe, USA and elsewhere, and led a very very luxurious life financed by the USA, while their PEOPLE and citizens STARVED, hungered and died and lived in the dearest of poverty - and still ARE living that way in Darfur and elsewhere in the region - and were killed by paid government criminals financially SUPPORTED by the USA and its Governemnt Reps!!!!

Maybe cause your Bush Presidents have STEPPED OUT of the "global community" many years ago already and didn t do ANYTHING with regard to solving international(!!) issues such as economic and human rights problems arising from globalization, worldwide poverty, alternative energy, environmental issues worldwide! The USA under the Bush reign had always lived on your OWN ISLAND - I m afraid many of you still today do not comprehend and have not yeat REALIZED that this "isolated living and "cooperating and supporting dictators such as Mugabwe in Zimbabwe for merely monetary and oil reasond has BROUGHT you into that economic and humanitarian mess you re in right now! And US bankers and politicians even took the REST OF THE economic world DOWN WITH THEM! Thank you so much!

Maybe Clooney sees a chance of changing that, Obama cannot travel EVERY country himself to see the REALITY there with his own eyes and George has been involved in Darfour for many years….Dictators in poor African + Arab Countries together with the large U.S. combines and Rep Politicians are(!) the "MAFIA" today and have behaved that way during the last two decades!

I think Obama should "change" the way things are done and actually have a sit down with people who don't have millions and live in the real world. How can you fix something if you can't relate to the average American.
