she was my idol growing up so I will always back her

Wow! It looks like there's something you can always count on in Hollywood especially, and that's fragile egos. Both Faye and Hilary seem to project a mature and professional image in the past. Nonetheless, the fact that they're throwing smacktalk around like this now makes for some delicious fun. Can't wait for Faye's return comment!

Faye Dunaway was overrated 30, 40 years ago.
So she lucked out on a couples of roles, but hasn't done
anything since, just riding her own coattails.

Hilary is a good actress. Although she hasn't done anything challenging she's good for what she has done. Whether the role requires an actress of that level still remains to be see. Anyway the fact that Hilary is getting older is why she looks not as good as she used too. See looks do fade. She was much "cuter" when she was younger, before her dental appts. I do think she will look a lot like Faye when she gets older so that's pretty funny.
