Well, actually, polls showed that two HUGE things caused McCain's downfall– PALIN and his age. And yes, Palin was number one.

Bush and Cheney's endorsements of him didn't help either. but Palin was the biggest factor in McCain losing. Not because she's a woman, but because she's fucking SCARY. I was undecided until she was named running mate.
