What I don't understand is why did the mom marry someone like this? I mean he didn't go to jail for weed or even carjacking… it was ATTEMPTED MURDER! To have a person like that living in your home with your child is COMPLETELY IRRESPONSIBLE!

Illinois doesnt have the death penalty anymore.. so the most he'll get is life. many people are against the DP, but when it comes to the punishment for something like a 7 yr olds life… makes you think.. either way, God will have the last word on his fate.

This man should never have been let out of jail to begin with. He was serving time for attempted murder, he should've been in jail at least 20 years. This country needs tougher laws to keep creeps like this out of all of our lives. Ladies, don't date men who have been in jail for attempted murder…you deserve better than those kinds of men.

it's too bad that they don't have the death penalty in il. so now the taxpayers of il are going to get to support this bastard for the rest of his life in prison. unless he doesn't make it long in prison… which we can all hope for!

but what really pisses me off about this whole thing is

1. ppl from the neighborhood heard gunshots friday morning but noone bothered to call the PO-PO because gunshots are common there

2. a freakin CHIHUAHUA was the one barking at the SUV, the truck had been there since FREAKIN FRIDAY and no one NOT A DAMN person bothered to call bout that!! GRRR

those 2 things really pissed me off…

Ok, if someone killed my child, they wouldn't even make it to jail. I'd kill them myself….with my bare hands. What kinda twisted person could do that? At least the adults could put up a fight. I'm not saying it was right to kill them but ya'know. I'd rather an adult go than a child. I hope this guy gets what's coming to him in jail. He will probably be lucky and be considered 'high risk' and be put in isolation.
