Only 5 out of the 19 are covers and 2 like i said above were for charity so Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton and Mel B have released covers but no-ones holding that against them are they.

I'm sorry did you say THREE number ones were all COVERS. no FYI get your facts straight douche. Sound Of The Underground is not a cover neither is The Promise. And the fact they covered I'll Stand By You and made it their own and then collaborated with the Sugababes on Walk This Way…hello all in the aid of Charity! Those two songs sold a lot of copies and all the money went to two great causes. So who gives a fuck if they are covers or not? It's not like they are the first artists to ever cover a song!

Anyway the Spice Girls were the big girl band of the 90's and Girls Aloud are the biggest of this decade. Period. Just because you haven't heard of them in America doesn't give you the right to slate them. Check them out and their sound out before you pass judgement on them, and get your facts straight.

cheryl is a sweet, sweet girl. she's just defending her own group - who wouldn't? at least she's loyal to them. and she has a valid point - they've actually been working hard to climb to where they are. hard work will pay off in the end.

1. cheryl cole can sing - posh cant. 2. cheryl is beautiful- posh isnt. 3. girls aloud - way better than the spice girls. cheryl has way more talet than posh and is a really nice girl. just because you havent heard of her over in america dosnt mean to say you can call her a whore you dont even know her. cheryl is fab!

Re: GirlsAloud – See once again, your somewhat deluded, GA dont perform their own songs! They make mediocre cover versions of songs that didn't any tweeking! (They're 3 number one songs were ALL covers) And everyone knows ur lying by saying you can't name at least one spice girls song! I really do admire your dedication to them and hate to hear anything bad about them. But you gotta admit, Cheryl & Nadine might be b Listers at most, but branding nicola, sarah and kimberly d list is a compliment!
