As far as the infection goes, it's probably MRSA and yes, you can feasibly get that from anywhere. Boston physicians are the best, everyone knows that - but also Boston is the leader in biomedical research aka they study antibiotic resistance and microbiology to the max. It isn't the easiest thing to pick up MRSA. With doctors hand picked by Lord Belicheck I think they would be extra careful and give him even better treatment. Most people in Boston would give their left nut for him and he would get all of MGH and Harvard Med at his bedside to fix him if needed.
