twins usually come about a month early. most are healthy, just on the small side, around 5 lbs and some ounces. some have problems, but they're usually not fatal. there are 3 sets of twins in my family; 2 sets had no problems, and the other set had 1 fully healthy twin, and the other had a few problems, but nothing fatal or overly serious - he had to have those little nostril straps with oxygen for a day or 2 as a precaution, he had jaundice (which went away on it's own), and the flap between his stomach and esophogaus wasn't fully developed, but special formula kept him comfortable and it healed on it's own.
