I love Queen Latifah…I knew she gay about 18 years ago when I first heard her music. She is an amazing woman and eventhough I think the concept of 'role model' is a bizarre method of judging people…I've got to say that this woman shows to be a fabulous one. As an out lesbian, I respect that some do not want to wear their sexuality on a huge billboard. If she were to talk anti-gay garbage I wouldn't think much of her..but she does not. Perhaps if she was from Canada (where the religious peeps do not have much of a voice or buying power) I am sure she would be a little bit more forthcoming.
Perez, give Jodie, Queen L, Lindsay, etc a break….I am more interested in the art they create/perform than hearing them shout from top of a mountain that they are gay.

True equality is allowing every ADULT to practice the sex any way they choose and to talk about it or NOT talk about if they choose. Why do you think public figures owe the public ALL the details of their private life??? She is a wonderful actress and being straight or gay has nothing to do with her talents.
