There are studies that show drug abuse is akin to cutting. Certain people use drugs not for the high or the asthetic affect but because it's causing damage to their bodies. They do it to cover pain, deal with pressure, etc.
I could imagine that Lindsay would do coke. The pressure to be thin in Hollywood is immense. You as her parents are at fault. You should have never let her in that kind of environment until she showed the personal strength and fortitude it would take to be an actor and NOT succumb to the pressures. You BOTH, as her parents are responsible for her former drug use. Take responsibility for that. Yes, she CHOSE to do the dope but YOU BOTH put her in a position where it was likely it would at least be offered.
Mr. Lohan, I'm sure that you are a good person. I'm sure that your intentions with your kids are absolutley sincere. What I'm not sure of is whether or not you have the mental capacity to accept responsibility for your actions as a parent. You can't keep shifting the focus and pointing fingers. If you must make comments on your personal life, don't give details. The saddest part is that because of her parents, yet again, her career is shot. She's known now, more for being a member of a family that is a train wreck.
Mr. Lohan, my condolences on your father. It's too bad that he couldn't live long enough to see his son GROW UP.

He's a fucking deludinoid if he seriously thinks anyone is going to believe that tripe about not being a fame-seeker. If you didn't want people to know your name, then they wouldn't, it's as simple as that. What the fuck would you be doing Mr. Lohan, if it wasn't for the fame of your offspring? You certainly wouldn't be this so called "philanthropist"…You'd be a fucking brick layer in New Jersey, that's what you'd be doing. While I'm sure the majority of people in the world would agree that Dina is more of a problem for those kids than you are, it's just insulting the way you try to portray yourself as some sort of saint. Your daughter is a fucking GROWN UP. If she's going to take a swan dive off the "wagon" she's going to do it, with or without you. In fact, your little public tirade could be what's called a "Catalyst". It could be what causes her to ingest a little "booger sugar" or pop a few pills.
I'm sure you do care about her and I'm sure you do want what's best for her but the problem is that you and Dina spent the majority of your kids' lives trying to make them famous and in the meantime, apparently you forgot to teach them that:
A. Drugs are bad.
B. Underage drinking is bad.
C. Drinking and driving is bad.
D. All of those kids are too good to do something like that to themselves anyhow.

Wow…So both of her parents suck.how do you know that the mom is not doing all this stuff the father claims she is doing?It's not like ex's don't do this kind of stuff all the time.Seems to me that his ex wife is a shit starter. I know my husband ex wife does that same shit all the time. Texts my husband about stuff concerning their children. She does crazy stuff. Beside LL sucks anyway!
