No, I disagree. People bought houses with such little down payment and with adjustable rates, so of course when the rates went up… they couldn't afford the payments. Simple economics. As far as the price of oil….. in the last ten years so many more people have bought gas guzzling SUV's and Hummers, etc… increasing the supply and demand of oil. But no, people like you have to have someone to blame. I live in a blue state (unfortunately) and our biggest problem is out of control property taxes… which, of course, will only get worse when there is another democratic pres. When will people realize that liberal politicians want to KEEP YOU DOWN. That's when they have the most power and influence.

And, sure, we can't pinpoint the entire blame on the rising cost of fuel on 1 man…. BUT, if you think the increase cost of gas has absolutely nothing to do with the Bush administration (Bush #1 & Bush #2) then you need a reality check.
