I never read the Tintin books, but I loved the cartoon that was out a few years back. I'm actually really excited about this and the fact that they had Stephen Moffat write the script. Great writer!

You guys in the United-States read only cartoons with super heroes . It's so boring and repetitive. Tintin is huge in the rest of the world. If you don't know who Tintin is , your culture is probably really limited .

[re=2801741]Re: amandamandy[/re] Um, Snowy's name is Milou in the original French. Cleopatra was right. He's also known as Bobbie, Spunte, Kuttus and Struppi.

Uh, I love you, Perez, but welcome to 2006's news. I've been lamenting this since I heard it. They're turning my fandom into a cg-smothered, Speed Racer-esque clusterfuck... THREE TIMES. Why does big Hollywood have to ruin beloved classics?

Oh, and Tintin is only one of the original comic book heroes. Superman and Batman owe him their success.
